Life Changing Weather App
An iOS application without which you can’t imagine your day
Everyone is unique in its own way, this is unchangeable state for every person, especially programmers. We all write different code for solving a same problem, and came up with different solutions. This is what makes me think more and be confident and persistent for making my ideas into reality. I draw on both to solve everyday issues and special challenges. I believe that I have impressive technical skills and willingness to learn. These features of myself brought me here with this unique app for iOS.
The idea to make this app came to me one morning when I was sick lying in my bed, and I wanted to know how the weather was. I couldn’t go to my window because it was on the other angle of my room. I decided to make an application that is going to save our curiosity in a second and inform us for actual weather forecast based on our location.
This app is going to change the lifestyle of mankind. Nowadays there are lots of people that instead of going out for a walk prefer to stay at home. Short descriptions inside this application are going to motivate and inspire us to spend our time and utilize a good weather. Besides changing the lifestyle of people, this app will save thousands of lives, staying safe from low and high temperatures by instructing them in everyday life.
This may sound weird, but the study — published in the British journal The Lancet — analyzed data on more than 74 million deaths in 13 countries between 1985 and 2012. Of those, 5.4 million deaths were related to cold, while 311,000 were related to heat. (USA Today, 2015)
Also if you’re interested, how was the weather in 1970 or any other date in the past, or you want to plan an event in the future and you wonder how would the weather be, you can do it all with Cloudy through Time Machine feature.
The app looks very minimal but the idea of Cloudy is to solve problems and to remain simple. As an addition I would like to mention a quote.
